As life on Earth developed and formed, knowledge also steadily emerged and expanded. Initially, at the very origins of the human species, their ability to perceive and understand the world was limited due to the inherent limitations of their mental activity. This meant that, in those distant times, people had basic knowledge of life, which they used to share what they knew and explain what they encountered in their environment. However, the ancient world encompasses numerous eras and milestones of progressive transformation in human evolution: the development of knowledge about the world, oneself, and the meaning of life. This process spans thousands of years due to the gradual development of the human psyche and consciousness. However, ancient stages of knowledge development and formation also cover periods in human history when people began studying morality, behaviour and interaction, as well as farming and animal husbandry skills. This laid the foundations for early civilisation, in which the great power of ancient knowledge served as a guiding compass for further evolution.

Everyone is familiar with the expression 'tree of knowledge'. But what does this metaphor symbolise? Everything in the space-time continuum has an initial starting point from which it grows. For a tree to grow, a seed is needed that will sprout and turn into a tree. As we know, every tree sends a network of roots deep into the soil to act as a solid foundation. This root system helps the tree reach for the sun, withstand strong winds, extract nutrients from the soil and 'communicate' with other trees in the vicinity.  The same principle applies to people. Figuratively speaking, every person also has 'roots' — a foundation that nourishes their nature. Every person strives for the light of knowledge; otherwise, the processes of exchange and healthy life activity will be disrupted, just as a tree deprived of sunlight loses vital energy. As the tree grows, its shoots expand and its crown becomes more lush and beautiful. Similarly, the power of ancient knowledge grows — from its origins to its highest evolutionary purpose.

Have you ever wondered where the seed of a future tree or other living thing on Earth comes from? Where does the complex genetic structure that determines the development of a living organism come from? Perhaps there is an ancient source of knowledge about the forms and types of life.

Every material creation on Earth and in space is formed on the basis of an informational 'blueprint' — a foundation, a design or a programme. Modern neuroscience and genetics have already explored these invisible levels of life formation in depth, revealing that each organism possesses a unique set of life codes. This means that every creation is unique and cannot be repeated in exact same way, even if it belongs to the same species of plant or animal. A particular creature or inanimate object is defined by its unique set of characteristics. Knowledge contains information reflecting the energetic composition of life forms. This energetic composition is determined by an individual set of life plan codes, meaning it carries the potential of consciousness — a particular facet of omnipresent cosmic consciousness. In other words, the diversity of life forms is determined by the levels of consciousness they are composed of. Millions of years ago, the Life Carriers — cosmic alchemists who are engaged in creating and introducing life on planets — developed a variety of life forms based on programme codes. This can be considered the starting point for the evolution of material organisms on the planet. Every modern human is a repository of a vast library of knowledge concerning the myriad transformations that have occurred in all living organisms. Human genetics contains the genes of all existing life forms, making humans an ancient book of knowledge. But how can we learn to read and understand this treasure trove of knowledge? If DNA contains the answers to questions about human evolution, is it enough to pick up a powerful microscope and start laboratory research?

Since all material structures contain the blueprint, design or programme of life, this suggests that this plan or programme did not appear by chance. The Life Carriers brought the ‘seeds’ of life to the planet and implanted the primary life plasma into the oceans. But where did these beings obtain these programmes? It transpires that the evolutionary stages of the development and formation of planets and their inhabitants are inscribed in the divine plan. Nothing in space arises by chance or spontaneously. Highly evolved beings from spiritual planets came to Earth, or 'Urantia' in cosmic terms, to guide humanity along the path of evolution. They shared the basics of understanding the world and its structure in a language that the people of that time could understand. These seeds of knowledge were passed down from era to era, growing to become the ‘tree of knowledge’. This great power of ancient knowledge forms the basis of true self-knowledge, enabling a person to comprehend the meaning of life and their destiny. Without knowledge of the true nature of humanity, a person is like someone lost in a dense forest, with no compass to guide them on their journey.

Of course, teachers from the higher worlds appeared on the planet and gradually conveyed knowledge to humanity, revealing the nature of the Creator as the source of life and disclosing it to people as far as they could comprehend. The scriptures containing ancient knowledge are preserved in written sources, on the walls of ancient caves and buildings, and on clay tablets. This ancient knowledge is also preserved in the memory of humanity — in the subtle layers of consciousness where every sound, thought, movement and experience is recorded. Therefore, to know oneself, one needs a source of true knowledge — teachers who lift the veil of truth. A teacher can only guide and share the seeds of knowledge and the skills to apply the truths that have been given. The seed planted in the soil of human consciousness then sprouts and grows stronger.

Like the roots of a growing tree, the great power of ancient knowledge lays the foundation for a person's subsequent development and evolution of consciousness. Without roots, a tree loses its vitality. Similarly, a person who ascends to the heights of their consciousness as intended by the Creator will be deprived of energy if they lack knowledge of their true nature, purpose and the meaning of life on Earth. People draw life force from the Source of life — God, the centre of the entire universe. Therefore, the seeds and roots of ancient knowledge reflect the cyclical nature of life in the cosmos: without seeds, it is impossible to grow a new tree, and a new tree then produces new seeds. On the path of development, a person strives for higher knowledge and the expansion of their horizons. This programme is embedded in people's consciousness.

Each time the boundaries of knowledge are expanded, a new realm of the unknown arises. This process continues until the level of God's consciousness is reached — this is the true purpose of humanity: spiritual development and the realisation of divine potential. This process requires the great power of ancient knowledge as an internal framework and foundation, as well as the pursuit of new knowledge in accordance with the modern era. Morality and ethics serve as a guiding compass on this path, providing reliable guidance on the eternal journey of life.
